Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Longevity Chicken with Chickpeas & Salmon Recipe is made for adult cats. Talk to your veterinarian about you cat’s ideal weight and adjust your amounts accordingly.
Adult Cat Size Feeding amount*
5 lbs. 1/2 cup
10 lbs. 3/4 cup
15 lbs. 1 cup
*Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup. This chart represents average recommended daily portions. You may need to feed slightly more or less, depending on your cat’s activity level and overall fitness.
Feeding Instructions : Close package tightly between feedings or store in an airtight container to keep product fresh. Regular veterinary visits are recommended to ensure your cat’s good health.
Be sure to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container daily.
Feeding Amounts: Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner.
Start weaning kittens on Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Longevity as soon as they begin to chew solid food, usually 3-4 weeks of age. Allow them to eat as much as they want until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age). Feed growing kittens 2-3 times the amount recommended for the expected adult weight, in three meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily until 12 months.
Pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. Feed pregnant females 1.5 times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight. Feed lactating females up to three times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.
Transition Instructions
Because Rachael Ray Nutrish® Longevity may offer different ingredients than your cat is used to, it may take up to ten days for your cat’s system to become acclimated. Slowly mix with the other food over a five- to ten-day period until your cat is solely eating Rachel Ray™ Nutrish® Longevity.
