Garcinia cambogia is a small, tropical, bitter-tasting, pumpkin-shaped fruit that is sometimes called Malabar tamarind or brindal berry. Native to Indonesia, it now grows throughout Southeast Asia, India and parts of Africa and thrives in moist forests. Garcinia contains hydroxycitric acid, an active compound naturally found in the fruit rind. Garcinia fruit has long been used in traditional Asian dishes, including chutneys and curries.
Futurebiotics® Garcinia Cambogia Extract is a 100% vegetarian supplement that provides 400 mg of Garcinia cambogia extract per capsule, standardized to 50% (-) hydroxycitric acid (HCA). Futurebiotics® utilizes Garcinia Cambogia Extract that is bound to calcium in order to help stabilize the HCA and help improve efficacy. Futurebiotics® Garcinia Cambogia Extract is non-habit forming and does not contain caffeine or other central nervous system stimulants.
