Crave ™ with protein from Lamb and Venison Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for adult maintenance.
Every dog is different. These are suggested feeding amounts based on the ideal body condition for adult dogs of various sizes and weights. Your individual dog’s energy requirements may differ. Adjust the amount fed to obtain or maintain your dog’s optimum weight, provide plenty of exercise and visit your veterinarian regularly. Always provide fresh drinking water and serve this food dry or lightly moistened. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.
Suggested Amounts to Feed per Day (Cups) (Use a standard 8 oz. measuring cup): 5 lbs: 1/3 cup feeding amount; 10 lbs: 2/3 cup feeding amount; 20 lbs: 1 cup feeding amount; 30 lbs: 1-1/2 cups feeding amount; 40 lbs: 1-3/4 cups feeding amount; 50 lbs: 2-1/4 cups feeding amount. 70 lbs: 2-3/4 cups feeding amount. 90 lbs: 3-1/3 cups feeding amount. 110 lbs: 3-3/4 cups feeding amount.
Transitioning to Our Food: If feeding Crave Premium Dog Food for the first time or changing recipes, we suggest you blend increasing amounts of the new recipe with your old dog food for six days. For 2 Days: 25% Crave Dog Food; 75% old food. For 2 Days: 50% Crave Dog Food; 50% old food. For 2 Days: 75% Crave Dog Food; 25% old food. For a Lifetime: 100% Crave Dog Food.
Mix Wet and Dry For a Protein-Rich Feast They Desire
Dogs love the taste of Crave Dog Food. Mix both Crave Dry Dog Food and
Crave Wet Dog Food for a hearty meal they can sink their teeth into.
When feeding Crave canned food:
Replace 3/4 cup of dry dog food with 1 can wet food
When feeding trays of Crave dog food:
Replace 1/4 cup of dry food with 1 tray
