BlockOut Certified Natural Mineral Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 45
There is easy, then there is good. BlockOut CERTIFIEED NATURAL mineral sunscreens are formulated to protect sensitive skin from sun damage. Unlike chemical-based sunscreens which absorb the sun’s harmful rays from within the body, BlockOut mineral sunscreens remain on top of the skin and reflect the sun’s harmful rays — for those whose bodies are their temples, reflection vs. absorption is the better alternative. As mineral sunscreens remain on TOP of the skin, however, proper application takes a moment longer and may leave an amount white residue on the skin. Suffice to say, our sunscreen lotions have been micronized to make application as easy as possible.
- apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure
- reapply: after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating; immediately after towel drying; at least every 2 hours
- Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin disease and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
- limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am – 2 pm
- wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses
- children under 6 months: Ask a doctor
